Prevention is gold. A lot of illnesses can be prevented. Immunity is the first and last line of defense in our body and with proper care, it can prevent many illnesses.
There are various types of medicine systems. The usefulness of each one depends on the requirement. Each one is important. Lifestyle medicine is yet another type. The main focus of this is a lifestyle. For any medicine to work healthy lifestyle is very important. If lifestyle is not healthy no medicine will work.
Lifestyle is nothing special or expensive medicine. It is the way to boost the immune system, prevent diseases and improve health in general....all this without any expensive treatments. It is a simple ordinary diet,exerciseand sleep. The next and of at most importance is emotional health.
Emotional health is extremely important. Stress affects all other parameters sleep, food, exercise. Stress lowers immunity. Chronic stress can cause inflammation, hormonal disruption and thus lifestyle diseases.
Lifestyle management is not a replacement for any doctors but if followed in absence of disease can keep the medicines away and if followed after some disease has already hit then after few years of practice some of the medications may get reduced.
