Todd Rowe

Todd Rowe was born October 14, 1958 in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Dr. Todd Rowe is a licensed homeopathic physician who has been practicing homeopathy for over 25 years and has a full time practice in classical homeopathy. He is certified by the American Board of Homeotherapeutics and the Council for Homeopathic Certification. He is the president of the American Medical College of Homeopathy.

He has been a doctor of medicine since 1984 and a graduate of Rush Medical School, Chicago, Illinois. He completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Vermont in 1988 and achieved Board Certification in Psychiatry in 1992. He completed his homeopathic training at the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in Albany, CA.

Dr. Rowe teaches extensively. He is currently core faculty of the part-time, 1200-hr program in classical homeopathy at the American Medical College of Homeopathy. He also supervises homeopathic students and trains medical students and residents in classical homeopathy.


 

He has published several distance learning courses designed to help prepare physicians for first aid and acute prescribing, as well as preparing for homeopathic licensing exams. He has written several books on homeopathic education, including Homeopathic Methodology, The Homeopathic Journey, Choosing a Career in Homeopathic Medicine, and The Desert World: A Homeopathic Exploration.

Dr. Rowe is the director of AMCH Proving Research. He has conducted numerous provings, mostly focusing on local flora and fauna. In 2007 he published a book called Desert World, which summarizes this research. In addition, he has participated in conventional research exploring the efficacy of homeopathy in the treatment of fibromyalgia through the University of Arizona. He has published national homeopathic community research exploring homeopathic practice and homeopathic education.


 

Dr. Rowe is the past president of the National Center for Homeopathy. He has served on the board of directors for the Council for Homeopathic Certification, the Council for Homeopathic Education and the Arizona Homeopathic and Integrative Medical Association. He is currently President of the Arizona Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners.

Dr. Rowe has produced audiotape and videotape homeopathy courses for physicians. Dr. Rowe is also contributing author for the Clinician's Rapid Access Guide to Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

He has been director for provings of Heloderma suspectum (Hila Monster), Carnegeia gigantea (Saguaro Cactus), Urolophus halleri (Stingray), Cathartes aura (Turkey Vulture), Oxalis acetosella, Argemone polyanthemos (Crested Prickle Poppy), Salsola tragus (Tumbleweed), Alligator mississippiensis (American Alligator), Turquoise, Geococcyx californicus (Roadrunner), Geochelone sulcata (Sulcata Tortoise), Schistocerca americana (Desert Locust), Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), Cerebrum suis, hA2cg and Spermidine.
