Dental issues can be acute as well as chronic. Visiting a dentist is definitely not a pleasant thing but yearly or twice yearly this activity is a must in order to maintain not only your teeth but also the entire body as the mouth is the entry point of the body and if gums and teeth are not healthy there can be other illnesses.
Homeopathy is highly useful as an add-on to traditional dental care. But it cannot be a replacement or alternative. It can certainly work to both speeds and enhance recovery from dental procedures and traumas. Homeopathic remedies can be used for both acute and chronic situations and help in reducing or eliminating the need for antibiotics, and reducing pain, inflammation, and scarring. It can fasten healing after an injury, and repair the disharmony of the vital forces that leads to things like dental caries and tooth discolouration. Homeopathy is especially useful for fear and anxiety before a procedure, helping the patient to calm down and allowing the procedure to occur smoothly.
While prescribing a homeopathic remedy it is helpful to look at the constitutional remedy of the patient to see what its acutes are and whether there is something that can help the patient.
Dr. Robin Pollock will talk on more constitutional remedies for chronic conditions and some tried-and-true protocols for acute ones.
In this first part of the session, Dr. Robin Pollock will talk on a comparative study of materia medica for remedies that are both highly called for in a specific condition, and how to differentiate for prescribing more accurately.
