Description
Homeopathy is a complex science. Several factors need to be taken into consideration and before that the homeopath needs to understand the patient. Taking out crucial information from the patient is a tough task for a homeopath. And further s/he has to prescribe some medication, but can’t prescribe anything just for the sake of prescribing. And unless the patient sees results s/he is not going to believe the doctor.
If the indicated remedy does not work then maybe after 2-3 weeks take the case again and then prescribe. Another idea is to give one week medicine and one week gap. If no improvement then reviewing the whole case again is important. Sometimes the homeopath finds a perfect remedy but finds that it is not working as per the expectations. Giving intercurrent remedy helps the action of the indicative remedy.
It is possible to deal with exceptionally difficult cases only with experience. The scope of treatment expands as the physician evolves. It is possible to cure certain patients with the help of other therapies like occupational therapy along with homeopathy.
