Homeopathy can treat viral diseases, infections by Gram negative bacteria like Vibrio cholera, conjunctivitis caused by bacteria and viruses, Chikungunya, Japanese encephalitis, Chicken pox, Hepatitis and Dengue.

Most viral diseases are sycotic in origin. Acute stage of all viral disease including HBV shows sensitivity, excitability and Inflammation so they are treated with antipsoric medicines. Plant based medicines like Chelidonium, Kalmegh, Myrica, Cardus Mur, Bryonia, Lyc, Nux vomica, Ceanothus, Digitalis,Aurum met and Podophyllum are useful in the treatment of Hepatitis B. Other viral diseases like Chikungunya, Mumps, Chicken pox, Measles, Conjunctivitis, Dengue fever can be treated with plants bases remedies like Eupatorium, Puls, Jaborandi, Rhus tox, Puls, Euphrsia, Belladonna, Nux vomica and Eupatorium Perf.

Apart from relief from infections, the CD4 count also improves with homeopathic remedies even in critically ill patients. The remedies used are Tuberculinum B and Arsenic Iodatum.

For Covid pandemic homeopathy has promising treatment. It not just cures the infection but also takes care of complications. Post Covid increased levels of D dimer can be treated with Lach, Vipera, Phos and Crotalus Hor 30. Apart from this Adonis Vernalis Q 10 drops to prevent cardiac complications especially in patients with history of MI,Eucalyptus for patients with renal diseases, Tuberculinum for patients with Lung diseases, Puls 10 M followed by Sang Nit 30 for post covid cough, Cardus Marian us for patients with liver diseases,Opium 1M for patients with brain diseases, Lycopodium for poor appetite after covid-19, Chinninum Ars 30 TDS for weakness after covid 19, Avena Sativa Q 15 drops HS for sleeplessness after Covid-19, and Apis 3x, Helliborus 30 for swelling. Lycopodium prevents post covid complications in general.

In HIV cases Pulsatilla, Uncaria, Arsenic Iodatum and Vertvir 2c are most promising apart from Bryonia, Belladonna, Arsenic album and others.
